Erin Baird

You don’t always have to hike for days to get to the most beautiful nature moments. And Erin proves that. Her posts are filled with tips and ideas for where to go for hiking, cozy fire nights, and delicious food.

This summer, expect to see some ideas from Golden and a stay in a cabin in the woods featuring a hot tub/sauna.

Kerry MacLeod

A good dose of humour mixed with some of the most serene Zen moments in the Okanagan would describe Kerry’s social media posts.

Follow along for a look at paddling the upper Shuswap River, the Eagle River. And there may be a paddle/bike/camp trip to the Haida Gwaii.

Plus the Kalamalka Classic Stand Up Paddle Festival is back and you can bet Kerry has August 20, 21 circled in her calendar.

Jeremy Derksen

@thewilderxness on Instagram

A true self-professed generalist, Jeremy dabbles in everything from climbing to paddleboarding to mountain biking to longboarding. When the mood strikes, he likes to combine them into adventures like this:

Among his summer objectives is to map out and complete his own self-sustained local adventure tri routes, combining biking, paddling and running into single day epics in #YEG. As Seekers’ publisher, he’ll be hitting the road this summer to bring you more of Alberta’s and BC’s outdoor gems, from beaches to summits to the trails in between.
