Darius grew up in Richmond, B.C.’s historic Steveston village. The close-knit community introduced him to the power of shared experiences and storytelling. The small coastal town's creative backdrop as a filming location sparked his interest in media as a way to explore meaning, identity, and connection.
He studies journalism at the British Columbia Institute of Technology, where he has developed multimedia skills focused on thoughtful, human-centered storytelling. Darius is drawn to experiences that encourage reflection and growth, whether through community gatherings, creative spaces, or personal challenges. His work aims to highlight moments that leave a lasting impact and inspire others to see the world differently.
In his free time, Darius loves to stay active. You can find him weightlifting or going for a jog around Garry Point Park. But when he wants to take it easy, he turns to his music lover roots. He’s always looking to improve his self-taught guitar skills whenever he has a chance.
