Getting To Castle Provincial Park

Drive from Calgary: It’s about a 2 ½-hour drive south on the AB-2 S and AB 22.
Drive from Edmonton: It’s about a five-hour drive south on the AB-2 S.
Drive from Regina: It’s about a 7 ½-hour drive west on the Trans-Canada Hwy/SK-1 W and Crowsnest Hwy/AB-3 W.
Morning – Bike or hike the park’s trails
Start the day off with a hike or bike on one of the park’s many trails. Castle Wildland Provincial Park’s forest trails are not only breathtaking, they are also accessible to all. Whether by car, wheelchair, bicycle, or on foot, this is a park that is meant to be enjoyed by everyone.
Mid-morning – Castle Falls
After taking in the beautiful scenery of the forested trails, head to Castle Falls where you will find a scenic river and waterfall to fall in love with. Spend some time wading in the water, inspecting the greenery, or just enjoying the ambience of this space. The area is also a prime camping spot where you can fall asleep at night to the tranquil sound of the waterfall in the distance.
